An antique (early to mid 19th-century) English Staffordshire black & white transferware 9" diameter plate depicting a historical / named views scene of Baker's Falls, Hudson River New York, surrounded by a fruit, floral & bird border. In very good condition for its age with no chips, crazing, or repairs. There are some expected light utensil marks from use, two tiny rim glaze flakes as shown and a 'spider' crack to the glaze on the back of the plate that does not go through to the front.
