Billy Sheehan has used the original DiMarzio Model P® and Model One? bass pickups for many years. Because of the demands Billy puts on his system, we made several modifications to existing models in order to deliver even more of what he wanted. These are the exact pickups Billy uses in his signature Yamaha® basses. The Will Power? Neck Model is very deep-sounding with great low-end definition. Its dimensions are the same as the Model One?, but it’s a little louder and fatter-sounding, and pole piece spacing is slightly wider for better string alignment with long-scale basses.The Will Power? middle pickup is a P-style pickup with tremendous punch and mid-range power. The overall sound is similar to the DiMarzio Model P®, but a broader magnetic field lends more impact to individual notes and harmonic overtones. Both pickups are humbucking with 4-conductor wiring.
Recommended For: Neck position, medium string spacing.
Tech Talk:
Warm, full tone, no mud. For maximum high-end response, try 500K controls. For even brighter and cleaner sound, try switching the coils from series to parallel: the volume drops a bit, but the midrange really opens up and acquires a more acoustic quality.

Domestic: For larger packages, we ship using UPS ground to the lower 48 states. However, we ship most small packages using USPS 1st Class or Priority Mail. UPS will NOT deliver to APO, FPO or P.O. Boxes! If you need items sent to these destinations we'll ship via USPS Priority mail. For larger packages shipped to Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico we will ship via USPS Priority mail for an additional charge. Shipping insurance cost is included in all shipping quotes, for peace of mind and time savings. International: We ship internationally using USPS 1st Class International or Priority International airmail, usually 7-10 days delivery for most destinations. However, customs sometimes takes a considerable amount of time processing packages and it may take up to 3-4 weeks to actually receive your package especially using USPS 1st Class International Mail! If you want faster shipping we also use USPS Express Mail International. Please contact us for a shipping quote.
