Listed is a pair of first marketed Vintage Jet Inline Roller skates in existence circa 1940's, designed  by Christian Siffert, of Deerfield, Illinois.  Skates were manufactured by AFCO Products, Inc. of Chicago, Illinois.  Patent No. 2113862, issued 1938.  All original Leather Straps, Wooden Brake Stopper, Stainless Steel Carriage and Painted Wheels.  These skates were designed to be interchangeable for ice or dry land.  These were featured in Popular Mechanics ads, originally sold for $4.95 with an 'ice skate attachment' at $2.95 extra.  Extremely rare items.  Pair of skates are in great vintage condition.  The wooden stopper is missing on one of the skates.  All wheels roll freely, and are free from oxidation or corrosion.  Minor surface wear for age.  Exceptional collectors item to own. Won't find these even in the National Museum of Roller Skating.
