ANTIQUE GEORGIAN PERIOD ENGLISH 9 CARAT GOLD CITRINE SEAL FOB c1800 An antique English solid 9 carat gold (tests thereabouts, possibly gold filled to the base) fob, set with a pale citrine seal base. A very collectible Georgian period fob...perfect for wear on a chain! CONDITION: All original and very good. Slight signs of gilding wear around base commensurate with age and use. Needs a clean. DEFECTS: None. DATE/MARKS: Around 1800. Not marked. DIMENSIONS: 20 mm tall, base 19 x 16 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
