Minolta Rokkor-M 40mm F2:
.Cosmetically the lens is in excellent condition. The body shows only very minor signs of use.
. The focus is extremely smooth and the aperture is beautifully dampened and responsive.
. Optically the lens is in excellent condition. There are no scratches, fungus or haze. A negligible amount
of minuscule dust is present. Hard to see by the eye.
. The aperture blades are oil free and spotless. No age related wear.
. The lens comes with the rare L37 Minolta UV filter. Very high quality glass. This is in excellent condition and has been on the lens since I purchased it. The lens comes with the original caps both front & rear. Also has the original lens hood included in excellent condition. The plastic is soft and not brittle like most.
. I purchased this from a very reputable seller at Wolverhampton camera fair. The lens came from a private collection of Rokkor glass with the owners original CLE camera. I am the second owner of this lens.
. The lens is probably the best bang for buck lens in the whole Leica line-up.
.Optically identical to the Summicron-C 40mm. However this is the MKII version of the lens with standard 40.5mm filter thread and a modern lens coating that improves flare resistance and contrast. The Summicron C tends to fetch very high price tags.
.The coating is intact and has a glorious tint to it in sunlight.
. This is one of the best examples of this MKII lens (CLE) I have seen (the most sought after.) Most of these
lenses currently reside in Japan.
. A truly beautiful lens with outstanding IQ. A real gem of a lens. The price reflects
