I am offering an electrical restoration service for your precious Quad II valve amplifier. Unlike some other companies that offer similar restorations, I use top quality military paper in oil capacitors as well as carbon resistors to retain the original sound of the Quad II's. Using cheap polypropylene or polystyrene capacitors as well as metal film resistors will destroy the sound of your beautiful Quad II's. I also fit things in neatly and tidily and in straight lines as can be seen in the many pictures below this text and take pride in my work, unlike others I have seen on ebay. Price is for a single Quad II amplifier, so if you want to have a pair done, you need to buy 2. All components fitted are guaranteed for 12 months (return to base) although the Military spec capacitors could outlive the life of your amplifier as they are so well made. Price does not include a new power supply capacitor and clamp as these are not always required. If they are needed they are charged at an additional price of £17.50 including bracket and there is one in a Quad II amplifier. I also do a similar service to Leak valve amplifiers.
