The transmitter is used but in excellent condition with all original parts and packaging.

The item sends audio from a 3.5mm headphone socket to any bluetooth enabled device using the high quality aptX bluetooth protocol.

The transmitter contains a 3.7 V lithium-polymer rechargeable battery and is charged via a micro USB socket, note a USB cable is provided but a wall charger is not! Battery time is listed as 14 hours, charge time 3 hours.

The product is extremely versatile but I guess the main target purpose would be to plug into your phone or MP3 player to transmit to your bluetooth headphones. I personally used the device with it plugged into the bedroom TV so I could watch TV with headphones on while the other half slept.
