Up for sale, an ultra-rare USA-built white Steinberger GL3TR Roland synth controller guitar. Any GL3T is a difficult Steinberger model to find, as few GL3T's were built, and finding a stunning white example with the highly sought-after Roland synth controller is amazing. This guitar was just fully restored and set-up by Jeff Babicz, who was the former head of production at the Steinberger Sound factory in Newburgh, N.Y. Jeff dressed and mirror-polished the frets, rebuilt the TransTrem bridge and serviced the electronics, so the guitar now performs perfectly. The TransTrem operates correctly, and not only transposes properly, but returns to zero accurately and up to Ned's original factory specifications.

The functionality and proper operation of the built-in Roland system has been checked and verified to be working correctly and all of the controls work as designed. Many synth fanatics prefer the Steinberger GL controller because of its accuracy in tracking. The matching foot control synth module and multi-pin cable are also available if needed.

The GL3TR configuration is an extremely rare model, as very few customers ordered Steinbergers that did not have at least one humbucking pickup. This guitar was obviously a special-order instrument. Having three independent pushbuttons allows for any combination of pickups to be activated. A very versatile system and also an extremely wide tone-range configuration. There's some very minor wear to the EMG pickup logos, but otherwise, this guitar is in stunning condition. A gorgeous and great playing guitar that's just been fully restored by the world's top Steinberger tech, and is ready for the next 25 years of service. It now plays and performs as well as (or probably better than) the day that it first left the factory in Newburgh, N.Y.

This white Steinberger GL3TR guitar will ship in its original factory-logo black Steinberger gig-bag with its TransTrem arm, a new black cotton strap, an extra set of strings, and a copy of Jeff's work-order. Purchasing your Steinberger from a trusted source is essential when dealing with these advanced technology instruments.
