The Fender Custom Shop 1963 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic Electric
Guitar features an alder body with thin lacquer finish, maple neck,
rosewood fingerboard with 9.5" radius and 6105 frets, handwound
Stratocaster pickups with 5-way switching, three-ply mint green
pickguard, and vintage hardware. The middle pickup is reverse-wound so
that positions 2 and 4 are virtually noiseless.
This detailed
Custom Shop reproduction of a 1963 Strat was built utilizing original
tooling and production techniques of the era. And its light, Journeyman
Relic finish treatment gives it the look of an axe that was used, not
abused, although it is absolutely new in setup and playability. Includes
hardshell case.
