Condition Report: VERY GOOD
Very good clean sets. No holes,no rips, no cracked buckles, no broken zippers, good elastic with working barrel lock. The black intermediate and green patrol bags may have light snagging in the rip stop nylon shell a couple small rub marks, or a little very light roughness at top where the velcro straps sometimes rub on the shell. The patrol may be the green on green style or the original green on black style but are functionally the same. The goretex bivy cover may have small patch or two with matching fabric and sealed with seam repair tape and/or some small stains/spots that didn't come out in the wash. The layers of the bivy cover may show a little separation in a few small tiny areas (it appears like bubbling- see pic), but doesn't affect strength or use. May have the recruits name or number or or some small ink stains. Stuff sack may have some pricks or very tiny holes in nylon shell or very slight fraying on straps but does not affect function - still very good.

When all 3 bags are combined inside each other and fastened together, the modular sleep system is rated to -40 degrees!
These
modular sleeping bags are mummy-style bags and include the Green Patrol
Bag, Black Intermediate Sleeping Bag, Woodland Camo Gore-tex Bivy
Cover, and Black Nylon Compression Stuff Sack. Each component can be
used separately for warmer weather conditions or joined together for
colder weather conditions.
The 4 modular sleeping bag components include:
Green Patrol Sleeping Bag
This bag, when used alone is rated for temps down to 30 degrees F. It's ripstop nylon with
polyester fill and is water resistant. It has a reversible double pull
zipper which allows the top or bottom end to ventilate and also
includes a draft overlapping flap to prevent heat loss. Includes draw string for hood. Black/Green Intermediate Sleeping Bag
This bag (it fits inside the all green patrol) is rated for temps down to -10 degrees F. It has a
reversible double pull zipper which allows the top or bottom end to
ventilate and also includes a draft overlapping flap to prevent heat
loss. It has a foot box at the bottom that contains double the insulation as the rest of the bag for more warmth. The
chest collar prevents air drafts. Like the all green patrol, this bag is
also ripstop nylon with polyester fill and is water resistant. Includes draw string for hood.
By placing the black/green inside the all green, and both inside the goretex bivy cover you can weather temperatures down to -30.
Woodland Camo Gortex Bivy Cover
The bivy cover is made of durable 3-layer GORE-TEX fabric. It has a
reversible double pull zipper which allows the top or bottom end to
ventilate and also includes a draft overlapping flap to prevent heat
loss. It is waterproof and windproof and can protect you and your sleeping bags in nasty or cold weather. Includes snap fastener and zipper slide fasteners . Black Compression Stuff Sack
For travelling with and transporting your sleep system. Compresses
to one cubic foot or so . It provides six 1" wide nylon webbing straps
adjusted by buckles and 3 1" wide nylon webbing straps around the girth for a total of nine straps. Includes Nylon drawcord closure with a barrel lock.
