How does NATO Sizing Work?

The NATO size system simply is two measurements, length and width in millimeters of the foot the boots are intended for.   If you want to verify these boots will work for you, simply measure the length of your foot from back of heel to the end of your toes, as well as the width of your foot in the widest spot.  Please check this before purchasing.  We are also glad to help if you have any questions about sizing!!! Please see the below sizing conversion chart.

Whats with the hole???

Upon being decommissioned from the Canadian Armed Forces, all boots have a very small hole punched in them somewhere on the tongue or ankle of the boot.  This is too ensure the boots are not inadvertently returned to service and reissued. This hole is approx.. 1/8” in diameter, and does little to the overall function of the boot.  Unfortunately this is the nature of military surplus equipment
