Vintage wooden rice bucket

Welcome to my listing for this old wooden bucket. Originally made as a rice bucket. They would have been in pairs with a wooden bar attaching the two together and used in the rice fields. Now great for shop display, in the garden full of flowers or great as a well bucket. Please note: I have other buckets for sale, they are old and dry stored and as with all cooper made wooden item such as these will "weep" a little until swollen. If to be used as a water tight bucket then submerging in water overnight to swell and plug the joints should be sufficient.
