Details of the D18 Steam Engine:The technology of this engine represents a combination of types D 20 and D 16, enhanced by a number of technical refinements. The brass boiler, highly polished and nickel-plated, has a capacity of 530 ccms and is equipped with a new type of pressure gauge (d=26 mms) and a nickel-plated pressure gauge support. The condensed water is fed to a tank hidden behind the boiler house, causing the chimney to smoke realitically. The engine plate has now been additionally fitted with a dynamo to supply the lamp at the rear, between the boiler and engine, with current. The lamp is modeled on industrial lamps from the turn of the century and shines on the flywheel during operation. Water drainage cock, spring safety valve, steam whistle with chain, handwheel shutoff valve for steam, steam jet oiler, handsome piston rods of galvanized diecast metal.
All steam engine accessories (stack, whistle...) are in a factory sealed bag.
