Yes - I know - it's just a simple stereo switch-box with a nice Volume Control! That's what Passive Pre-Amplifiers are!
This one is just a peach though - and not as pricey as most out there.
It is surprisingly heavy - with the rubber feet it will stay where you put it and not fall off the shelf with the weight of the input/output cables at the rear.
