This magical set includes a Berkshire-style steam locomotive and tender, a passenger coach, an observation car; and 24 curved and eight straight plastic track pieces. The beautifully resilient locomotive includes a working headlight; and authentic train sounds which play a bell and whistle sound; as well as announces, “I am the king of the North Pole,” and, “All aboard! This is the Polar Express!” You can operate this battery powered set using six conventional C batteries (not included). The set also comes with an easy-to-operate RC remote control (requires two AA batteries)

This Ready-to-Play set also comes with an exclusive track system which allows you to create; a circle, a rectangle or an oval layout. This track system is exclusive to Ready-to-Play set and it is not compatible with Lionel G Gauge or other G Gauge track systems.
