Yes, you read correctly, it is an external graphics dock for a nuc6i7kyk "skull canyon" nuc with a gtx 960, and it is not a razer core! This egpu is not thunderbolt 3, it connects to the nuc via one of the m.2 ssd slots, that being said if you are using 2 memory cards, you will have to remove one of them.

Set up is pretty easy, i had it up and running in 15 minutes. If you can install the memory (ram/rom) and operating in your nuc, you can easily set up this egpu. That being sail tho i can not be held responsible for any damaged caused to either your computer/nuc of the egpu that may occur during the installation or use of the egpu.

So here is the thing, before this nuc the last time i played video games was on a play station 1. Since purchasing the nuc i have been playing Far cry 3 and 4 for about 4 months (without the egpu) and the nuc will play those game on the lowest settings at about 17-30 fps and the graphics are ok, and the game play is ok but it will have momentary freeze ups for a fraction on a second when there is a lot of action on the screen, now with the egpu, i am playing them on very high at about 40-60 fps (and i have yed yo try overclocking  (afterburner)). The graphics are sooo much better!! And the game play is way better (faster response)
