Ann Westley (Born 1948) Artist, Teacher, Sculptor and Printmaker. Born Kettering, attended Northampton School of Art aged 17, and West of England College of Art, 1965-1967, gaining a first class honours diploma in Fine Art. Taught from the mid 1980s, including Cambridge College of Art, Braintree College, North Essex School of Art in Colchester and Bishop Grosseteste College, Lincoln. She was studio assistant to Michael Rothenstein, 1983-1985. Exhibited regularly in Group Shows including RA from 1984. Was elected RE in 1989. Her work is held in a number of public collections- she wrote a book on relief printmaking in 2001 which was widely well received.
