Glomesh is an iconic Australian brand made in New South Wales in the 60s 70s and into the 80s. They are made of very flexlible metal chain mesh covered with tiny shiny coloured discs. 

This bag & purse have been stored in a cool, dark, dry drawer since purchase.  They have never been used. They are in part of the original box. No marks, no defects, no losses to the chain-mail. The original tags and secondary packaging have been removed but they are otherwise untouched.

A matching shoulder-chain handbag and coin / change purse made of shimmering slinky chain-mail. Described on the box as bone coloured. They could also be described as cream or ivory coloured. Whatever you call the colour, it has lovely subtle sheen to it.

They have a coral colored lining which is immaculate.

The handbag measures about 19 x 16 cm with a 95 cm chain. The purse measures about 13 x 9 cm.

Ideal for evening wear, night-club, party, wedding, prom, special occasion, cocktails, formal wear. Great mid-century retro look.

Only the top part of the box has survived; the bottom part of the box was lost some time over the years.  The box  has some minor scuffing but is otherwise OK.
