Here i have for sale a cute open/closed homemade wooden hand painted shop sign/plaque.

The sign was totally made without the use of electricity.The signs are cut to size using a handsaw.The holes are drilled using a vintage brace.Then the whole piece is hand sanded then sprayed with zinseer shellac.

After this process a first coat of annie sloan chalk paint is applied and left to dry for around 20 hours,before a coat of a different colour annie sloan paint is applied,This in turn is allowed to dry for a further 20 hours before i hand sand and distress the chalk paint before finally sealing with clear and dark waxes.

The sign is hung using wound picture wire and the sign is recommended for indoor use only.

The sign measures approx 20 cms long by 14 cms drop.

Each of my signs are slightly different from the last one i make due to the unique style i hand make these signs.
