Merope angulate

Mangrove Lime

This very rare plant looks much like a small lime tree.  The tree has thorns prompting the name 'lelang' in Malaysia which refers to the talons of the hawk describing the look of the branches. Makes a good container specimen. Leaves are aromatic when crushed, giving off a citrus scent. Lovely scented, small white flowers occasionally bloom.

The small size of this tropical tree makes it an ideal species for bonsai.

Fun Facts:

2.       An endangered plant of Singapore

   3.  Often found among Mangrove trees

Seed is a live product which depends on many important grower skills such as proper planting time, seed depth, type of soil, watering, light intensity, proper use of fertilizers, weed controls, fungicides, insecticides, soil conditions, and reasonable weather during the growing period. These factors are totally out of the sellers control, and germination and growing results are the buyer's responsibility and risk.
