This is a 20" Super Cymbal with two rivets that are not from the factory and two empty rivet holes (none of the rivet holes are from the factory and that is obvious. Most consider a Super to be a Paiste and say they were made by Paiste, so it was probably made by Paiste. I'm not sure when exactly, but the center hole is slightly small and I'd probably go with the 50s, as Paiste wasn't yet making bronze cymbals at that point and this is clearly made of something other than bronze (it is likely nickel silver). That being said, the cymbal sounds pretty darn good to me (usually nickel silver cymbals get a nasty chainsaw tone when you get em goin and some of these old swiss ones find ways to avoid that) This one is pretty quiet and very washy. The sound is a bit 'stainless steely' but has the wash and sizzle on top of that. It only weighs about 1500 grams. The cymbal is very discolored. It has stickmarks and scratches and patina. The holes were drilled poorly with some heavy drill scratches where they missed the mark. Some of these are denty and there's more dents on the edge. I didn't get closeups of every drill scratch, just the worst one to give you an idea. The edges have some roughness and nicks but not really anything that bad. The center hole is quite round and there's no cracks there or anywhere else. The important part in this case is the sound.. and if you don't have a nickel silver super thin jazz pie... this would be a fairly cheap way to get one that doesn't sound lame.
