This classy vintage Ollech and Wajs dive watch looks great.  The black satin "T Swiss T" signed dial has aged beautifully and is free of any scratching, tool marks or defects.  In my humble opinion at certain angles and under various lighting conditions the dial has tropical brown undertones.  The original tritium on the dial and hands has developed a warm and inviting buttermilk hue and emits a faint, very short-lived glow after being exposed to bright light.  The black bezel, which smoothly rotates bidirectionally, is in exceptional condition.  The chrome plated case is in good overall condition, showing some brassing but free of any significant dents or dings.  The outer edge of the case back is engraved "GUARANTEED 20 ATM TESTED SWISS MADE ANTIMAGNETIC STAINLESS STEEL BACK WATERPROOF" with a picture of a diver and fish engraved in the center.  The crystal shows light scratching that may polish out with Polywatch and or a light polishing.

The 17 jewels unadjusted Swiss "Ollech and Wajs" stamped EB 8021 manual wind movement is in excellent condition.  After recently winding the crown 17 full revolutions the power reserve lasted an impressive approximate 39 hours and the red date wheel rolled over as it should.  After 17.5 hours of power reserve the watch was running approximately 1.5 hours fast.  The crown and stem have a very stable and secure feel (not wobbly when the crown is pulled out) and the crown winds beautifully.  Although this watch is currently running strong, considering that it is over 40 years old, likely having not been serviced in several decades and given that it is running fast, a complete overhaul is suggested.

This watch measures approximately 35 mm excluding the crown, approximately 38.5 mm including the crown and approximately 18.5 mm between the lugs.  Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 8 mm.  Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 11.5 mm.  No band is included.

As mentioned above, this is a vintage watch that has likely not been serviced in several decades and it is running fast.  As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch.  Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old-school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time.  A full overhaul is recommended to keep this watching running strong.  Any servicing costs going forward are your responsibility.
