This is an absolutely superb antique George lll sterling silver teapot with matching stand. The teapot measures 11" (28 cms) from handle to spout x 3 1/2" (9 cms) x 5 1/2" (14 cms) to the top of the lid and the tray measures 7 3/4" (19.5 cms) x 4 3/4" (12 cms). Both items have the silversmiths mark for Duncan Urquhart & Naphtali Hart
and also show the George lll head - the stand is hallmarked for London 1795 and the teapot if 1796. The pot and stand are both engraved 'Eliz Dudden Benager'. This is a beautiful pair in super condition and would make a great addition to any collection - please scroll down to see photos and email elliejbush@gmail.com if you have any queries
