Vintage 1980 Maxon AD80 serial # 89 analog delay with box, slight wear on box.
The pedal is near mint, has one tiny chip in the paint, left upper corner. It looks bigger in pic than it is. Hard to see in person.
The nuts and washers on this pedal are still shiny. I am pretty sure you will never see one this
clean. It has not been used more than a few times for sure.
I have owned several Ibanez AD80s and this is the best sounding one I have ever played.
I opened the pedal for a pic and to confirm 1980. Compander chip is 1980. Original MN3005
Also this one has the 570 compander chip which is the best according to Analogman.This compander chip is extremely Rare, in fact
this is the only pedal I have seen one in. Like the MN3005 very hard to find.
Beat Ibanez AD80s go for up to $400 so Im asking a little more for this one.
I talked to an ex Maxon employee who told me Maxon used a few upgrade parts in the ones they put their name on, I dont know if that is true but makes sense.I do know this is the AD 80 to have.
I will include an 18 volt non original power supply, which says 12vdc but tests at 18 vdc on my Fluke meter.
