Really nice Fender 1962 American Vintage Reissue in custom color black and made by fender USA in 1988.

Guitar produces nice tone and sustain, especially when run through a tube amp. Sports a comfortable early 60's style neck with very colorful rosewood on the fingerboard. At around 8.2 lb on my cheap bathroom scale this guitar has just enough weight to provide that Hendrix or Clapton style sustain.

These are some of the better vintage reissue's from Fender, very true to the 60's vibe and construction, and most importantly, to the tone and playability. The pick-ups dutifully approximate that 60's sound (I own a early 60's strat), and the 5-way pick-up selector switch allows for more modern options for pick-up blending. Original case included and wammy bar, plus and extra wammy bar in case you loose one. You won't be disappointed with how this Strat puts out and how it looks! Very Clapton-esque "Blackie" strat.

There are a few very small divots on the back of the neck that can be seen with sharp eyes or a magnifier, probably from a music stand (previous owner).  They could be "drop filled" if bothersome to the new owner but it does not affect the feel of the neck, you have to look closely, or for me, with a magnifier. There is one paint scrape near the bottom strap button, one or two small black paint dings, otherwise minor play wear (also previous owner).

These fine 80's Vintage Reissues are starting to go for much higher prices - some in the mid 2K's on ebay.
Serial is: V033288 which  indicates 1988  and I believe it was made at the Fullerton California factory.
