VINTAGE GERMAN HAND TOOL BY J.A. HENCKELS

For consideration is a vintage German made pair of ‘believed to be’ pipe crimpers OR herb cutters.  I've heard evidence indicating either/or.  So take your pick, the kitchen or the tool shop ?  What is clear is based on their markings they are/were produced by German company J.A. Henckels likely between 1900–1969 (In 1969 they slightly changed their company logo).  That being said these are in great condition for their age and would work for actual usage ( as much as you would use a vintage tool ) or collectability purposes.  The crimpers are marked Germany and have the number 42 on both handles.  The tool also has a locking hook at the end to keep them in closed position for storage purposes.  Overall a very neat piece made by one of the worlds foremost German firms.
