(2) SYLVANIA CAA-5751 Twin Triode Vacuum Tubes

NOS from 1957

Black Plates - Three-Mica - Gold Print Lettering - Top Square Getters.

Similar to 12AX7 Types.

  Both tubes have "5751" etched into the glass. Additionally both have printed in gold ink:  "5751  MADE IN U.S.A. SYLVANIA 805 RGR"

Both boxes are marked with type CAA-5751 and DATE MFG. AUG-57.  Also have Contract Number CCA-33005.

Tubes are tested on a simple emission tester (Sencore Mighty Mite VI TC154) and are tested for shorts, grid leak and emission.  Test OK with no shorts or grid emission.  Meter readings for the Sencore tester are: 0-50 is "bad";  50-70 is marginal;  70-120 is "good". No recommended values are given for specific types (unless otherwise noted in the manual). Readings for these tubes are 97/97 and 96/97.

  No tests or claims are made nor intended concerning "matching" or "microphonics" or "remaining life". Test results are provided for comparative purposes and should not be understood nor construed to have any other meaning. Results may or may not agree with results from your tester.
