It hearkens you back to the Old West and the Cowboy and Indians movies and westerns baby boomers grew up on and later generations watched on classic television. It measures approximately 2.5 x 2.5 inches.  "Sheriff" is written on the badge in blue enamel. It is in excellent vintage condition and ready to wrap for the holidays.  It makes a wonderful stocking stuffer.  There is even a space where a child's name or badge number can be engraved or filled in with a sticker.
