Rare original promo "Strength Magazine" black t-shirt from the late 1990s! Has not been worn for at least 15 years - held safely in storage since that time. The XL tee was always too big for me so it was only worn a few times.
Front side has the big lightning bolt logo designed by Shepard Fairey of "OBEY" and "Andre The Giant Has A Big Posse" fame. The back is blank; on the bottom of the side is a small "Designed by Shepard Fairey." This shirt was used to promote the "Subtext" album released by Strength Magazine in 1999, a compilation of mostly West Coast hip hop featuring such artists as Awol One, Aceyalone, Peanut Butter Wolf, Del, J-Rocc & Babu, and Dilated Peoples.
Please excuse the poor photos, but the shirt is in very good condition with no discoloration, stains or holes.
