I thought this was a Mustang scooter gas tank but have been told it is not. I am not sure exactly what it is but maybe it is a Wassell? It has rust but is solid no soft spots or holes.  I was going to build a Triumph chopper using only parts I already had and this was going to be the tank for it.  I was even going to keep it the way it is and leave the blue even though it has patina chips and scratches.  It has personality. I decided not to build the chopper because I bought a Ducati 1098 and a Triumph T100c and am now out of room.  The time machine is bigger on the inside but still you can only fit so many bikes before you run out of room.
