This is one of a pair of 2 rare vintage MM85 MK 2 professional cassette decks.  You are bidding on one but 2 MM85 MK 2 units are available.

These were purchased new some years ago and installed in a high end home stereo system and then received very little use.  The unit has 2 motors and is direct drive.  This MM85 unit along with the MM95 were the best units Technics made  in their best days.  The heads are in good condition.  The unit has rack mounting holes
