NOT a redyed piece) with gold HW

 

Impossible to find! CHANEL royal blue lambskin mini flap with gold plated HW and straps. The bag has a single flap with CC interlock on the front.  One main compartment, one slit pocket, one zip pocket and one exterior back pocket.  Royal blue leather interior lining. 
 
 
Fit: Dimensions: 6.75"W(bottom widest) x 6.75"W(top widest) x 5"H x 2.5"D.

Strap drop: 20.5"
 

  (for buyers who want to carry this bag as a cross body bag, please carefully check the chain strap drop measurement we provided.  Depending on your height, this may not be a comfortable cross body bag as the chain strap is not very long).
 

 
It was rarely used since it was bought in the last 80s and it is still in a great and very clean condition.  Very gentle and reasonable wear on the exterior, hardware, bottom corners and straps.  The interior lining, bottom corners, and the leather have no rips or tears.  The interior lining shows minimal wear and it's very clean. The hardware show very minimal hairline scratches from opening and closing which you can't avoid.  The leather part on the shoulder strap has no visible wear.  
 
 
You will see some light fingernail scratches on the exterior which is almost unavoidable with lambskin.  Some are on back side, front side, the back side of the flap and bottom ( please refer to the pics).  The corners, piping and edges show very gentle wear.  The chain strap is in a mint condition and still looks super shinny with NO fading.  The back side is very clean with NO darkening rubbing at all.  There is a light mark on the top of the bag(see pics 7-8) and also a few small scratches around the CC interlock and in the front lower section(see pics 5-6).  There is slight wear on leather around the right metal grommet inside(see pic 13).  The quilting is still very nice and puffy which you rarely see in vintage mini bags made in the 80s. 


Last, due to the age of this bag (which happens to a lot of Chanel vintage 2.55 bags made in the 80s), it has some peeling inside the slit pocket and also inside the entire zip pocket.  2.55 bags made in the 80s are unlined inside the pockets therefore it's very easy to develop that peeling/fading even if you don't use them.  This bag has been sitting inside the box for so many years and this just happened over time(see pics 19-22).  Hence you can't really use the inside pockets anymore due to the peeling inside.  Additionally, this bag has a perfume smell and it's mostly on the inside.  The outside does not really have that perfume smell.
