This sale is for a large size quality vintage hardback FOLIO SOCIETY EDITION entitled “The Autobiography of Benvenuto Cellini,”
translated into English by George Bull, with 16 pages of illustrations of his
works.
It was published by The Folio Society, of
Benvenuto Cellini (1500-1571) wrote his autobiography between 1558 and
1566. It was not published until more
than 150 years after he died (1st published in 1728) and it did not
become widely known outside

The book measures 10 inches x 6.5 inches x 1.25 inches (a little bigger
in its slipcase) and has 351
pages + illustrations.
The book is in
very good clean and neat condition, with minor wear. The binding is very good with no loose or
missing pages. There are NO
inscriptions/book-plates and NO other ink or pencil markings in the book. The slipcase split/flapping/damaged to one
end.
