GOOD to VERY GOOD CONDITION
This sale is for a VICTORIAN
hardback edition entitled “A Theoretical
and Practical Italian Grammar,” subtitled “With Numerous Exercises and
Examples, Illustrative of Every Rule, and a Selection of Phrases and
Dialogues,” by E. Lemmi, LL.D. The text is written in both English and
Italian.
It was published by Thomas
Constable and Co., of Edinburgh, in MDCCCLVII (1857) and is the Second Edition.
The book measures 6.75 inches
x 4.3 inches and has 272 pages, which are marble flecked to all rims.
The book is in good neat
condition for its age, with minor wear/bumps to the original cloth hardback
cover, with a previous owner’s signature at the front and small ink blots to
pages 18 & 19 and near the rims. The binding is very good with no loose or
missing pages. As issued, there is no
dust-jacket.
A wonderful VICTORIAN edition.
