The GM TBI Fuel Injection Conversion

At first....the TBI systems look a little scary, but at a closer look there's not much to the system after stripping away the unneeded fittings and wiring. It's time to get aboard and enter the 21st century. Carburetors aren't that great for street use anymore.

There's enough in this Scrap Book to get you started and what to look for to begin the GM Throttle Body Injection hook up. In this 8-1/2" x 11", 80 pages with plenty of color photos, this book discusses which GM TBI system that is best to go with, How the TBI works, ECM & PCM service numbers and what year vehicle they came in, Frequently asked question, DRAC/ VSSB Transmission calibrations, TBI conversion helps, Lots of schematics & diagrams & Trouble shooting your TBI Fuel Injection System.

There is plenty of  1991-95 chevy trucks on the cheap right now and would make great parts truck to use the Engine/trans combo in you Hotrod. I used the motor, trans computor, complete TBI system, wiring harness, serpentine belt driven accessories, wiring harness in Project 64/ Resto Mod Chevy Truck.

GM TBI systems all work basically the same, and GM has kept also the wiring basically the same, so there is no need to have the exact wiring diagram for the system you are installing. Error codes are universal too.

These are my personal notes while doing Project '64/ Chevy Pickup with the Gen 5 TBI H.O. 454/4L80E combination. This is enough is this Scrap Book to get any enthusiat started.
