Bicycle Frame Protection

This kit is designed to protect your Bicycle frame from any frame rub and chain slap.

Included in your order is 400x25mm of 3M rubber mastic tape for dampening the sound of chain-slap and protecting your frame.
- For installation make sure the surface you are attaching it to is clean and dry (it is advised to fit in a warm environment-if this is not possible it helps to heat the two surfaces with a hair dryer/or equivalent)

Also included is 800x50mm of triple layer protection clear helicopter tape for protecting areas of the frame that suffer from cable rub, heal rub, and anything else that damages the paintwork.

*Note that the helicopter tape has a clear film over both sides - only one side has the adhesive. 

Areas that commonly need protecting: 
  • Chain stays and seat stays again chain slap 
  • Chain stays and seat stays against foot/ankle rub 
  • Anywhere the cables touch the frame - especially the head tube
  • The top tube due to shorts rubbing on the paint when stationary
  • Down tube from rock/debris strikes
  • Fork lowers from from rock/debris strikes
  • Crank arms from foot rub
