Although, my listings of camera and lenses are inspected as in working condition per description of auction's item, my feedback records reflects my item's description accuracy ; however, by bidding on this auction, winning bidder accepts that there is a chance that an item might be " Damaged " if it comes to that. The reason is I never know if anything might comes up " unforeseen " after package is shipped . If you find this un-acceptable, PUH-LEASE refrain from bidding so other can bid. Secondly, my selling AS IS reason is based on 10 years of selling on eBay. I have had buyers who switched, replaced lens, camera parts or damaged my goods and demanded refund. Also, I package Safe so I know better. Since, No longer trust people and I have to sell AS IS, FINAL with no returns, No refunds. Any spots on lens glass that you see are just from light reflections or dusts on the outside of lens and are NOT inside lens glass. Taking digital picture brings out reflections, specks that one's eye normally does not see. DESCRIPTION : On auction is a Nikon fit Auto Vivitar 24mm f2.8 lens in EXCELLENT + + condition with very few sign of use seen on lens body. The only thing I find annoying are 2 white color spots on the front lens ID ( which if you use a black permanent ink pen, to tip over the white color spots, should make it look nice and black completely ). Serial # 3704978. ( Lens Glass looks to be very clean, No scratch on glass. No haze, . . . . Lens focusing action is smooth and well dampened, not loose. Lens' aperture responds quickly as expected with no oil on lens blades. Inspected and tested on my FE, FM2 N camera and lens works perfectly. You can use this lens on a wide range of Nikon caemras from older Nikon F, F2, Nikormat cameras to later Ai mount cameras like FE, FM2N . . . cameras. This is a manual, hand focusing lens but you can use it on your digital camera in manual mode. Lens caps are included as shown in photo. An Albinar lens case is included for shipping protection. No haze No fungus , No dust particles, No moisture in glass , No nick, no scratch on glass, No mars, no coating damage on glass , No oil on lens blades, Lens iris / diaphragm / aperture works fast. 
Lens works as inspected prior to listing on auction on eBay. It is as stated and are not tested or inspected months or years ago. Although lens is working as stated, I am selling the lens As Is and as Final. The reason is that any lens can be taken apart by an experienced or handy person simply by using lens repair tools. Usually, lens serial # is on the front lens ID ring, which can be twisted off and replaced with a damaged lens which can have fungus, dusts, moisture filled, oily iris lens, stuck aperture, ... problem lens and then filing claim that my lens is damaged. Thus a nice working lens is then switched purposely without much difficulty. My feedback is my records of my item's description. Given the fact that the serial numbers on the lens is NOT present and no sure way against potential replacement, I have to state that this lens is to be sold AS IS, as final. I have been selling on ebay for 10 years so I have learned enough from past ebay bidders by now. Some buyer will act to his/her own benefits and then file claim saying my good(s) is damaged. My inspection is as stated in the description section above. As such, to avoid fraudulent bidder from attempting to do otherwise, all sales are final and non refundable. Upon placing the winning bid, the winning bidder acknowledges his/her bid as final and it is as bid to own. I cannot be clearer than my listing shows. The AS IS terms are not hidden in tiny prints, but are high lighted and the As Is words are enlarged for all bidders to see.

As these are Used, vintage 1970's, 80's, 90's lens or cameras equipments and Not New retail in store items, some items might require CLR ( cleaning, lubrication and restoration or Cameras back Door light seals might be needed ) so keep this in mind. Not tested with film unless stated. Be reasonable and don't expect as new operating condition on a used 20, 30 years old camera equipments. |
