This auction is for a Men's Heuer 1000 Professional Diver Watch with Black face and Luminous Markers

Up for bids is a very nice vintage men's watch made in Switzerland by Heuer.  This watch is a pre- Tag Heuer, as the two companies were not combined at that time.  This is the 1000 Professional Diver model.  The bezel is 37mm in diameter and is gold plated.  The gold plating is flaking off at various points around the bezel.  I believe the crystal is a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, but I am not 100% certain on this.  I can say that the crystal is in FANTASTIC condition and has no scratches that I can find.  The crown has the Heuer shield logo on the end, and it is the screw-in style of crown for water resistance.  The finish on the watch is a matte black with gold plated accents.  The multi-link band is marked TAG Heuer, which leads me to believe that the original Heuer band may have been replaced at some point in time, but with the appropriate style/color.  The clasp is folding with a double security device.  The battery has been replaced on Dec. 13, 2016 with a New Renata Swiss battery (Silver oxide) and still keeping great time!  The watch is Water Resistant to 200m.  Measurement of the band diameter inside is approx. 7 1/4" currently.  There is no box or additional links provided in this sale.
