Description: A good extremely fine 1916 (1335 AH) Egyptian five milliemes or half a piastre copper-nickel coin. The coin depicts the name of Hussain Kamil or Kamel as the Sultan of Egypt during the British occupation of Egypt and his accession date of 1333 AH on the obverse. The coin shows the denomination on the reverse. It also has a central hole, which was common in those days. It is KM-315, weighs ~5 grams, and measures approximately 23 mm in diameter. Coins of such low denomination are becoming very difficult to find in such high grade due to the fact that they were heavily circulated. Please carefully review the images presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Size and weight: This is a five milliemes or half a piastre, weighs 4.9 grams and is ~23 mm in diameter.
References: It is KM #315.
Condition: I would grade this coin as a good extremely fine with all the details being very well preserved and having very nice eye appeal. The coin nicely toned with a bold and very pronounced strike and has no observable problems. It is much better than the scan shows. It does have minor bag marks, a few scratches, some soiling embedded within the calligraphy, which gives it a beautiful character, and general honest wear commensurate with its age and circulated status.
