This is a pretty awesome notebook computer that has served me well for a couple of years, and went with me on extensive travels. Even so, it is in good shape and has a lot more miles in it!

I upgraded the original Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 a while back and it continues to perform well. All Windows updates are current thru 19 February 2017. I made a set of 8.1 recovery CDs you can use if you prefer to go back.

The specifications are pretty impressive:
Microprocessor: an AMD Quad-Core A8-4500M Accelerated Processor that runs at 1.9 to 2.8 GHz.
RAM: 8GB of DDR3L SDRAM.
Display: 17.3” 1600x900 LED/LCD
HDD: 1TB 5400RPM with HP ProtectSmart HD Protection
Optical Drive: “SuperMulti” DVD Burner
LAN: RJ-45 Ethernet connector, 10/100
WiFi: 802.11b/g/n (2.4GHz only)
Full-size keyboard with numeric keypad
USB: 2 USB 3.0, 1 UsB 2.0
Video: 1 HDMI, 1 VGA
SD Card Slot
Webcam and Microphone
Headset (headphone/microphone) 3.5mm jack.
Original HP Power Supply and cords included.

I have taken most of our programs off of it but I see there are still a few left – yours to keep or remove.

Also, It boots directly to Windows, so you won’t have a password problem, but I will include the last password/PIN that I set, in case that is needed. I have not configured WIndows 10 Hello (log in by facial recognition) for my use, but the OS seems to think the hardware is capable of supporting it.

All of our information has been removed (I hope!) and the HDD has been scrubbed using Windows built-in Cipher.exe Security Tool.

Shipped in the original box.
