Listing is for a very nice restored vintage Tag Heuer 1000 980.013 dive watch.

It has been professionally polished and features correct polished sides and a brushed top. Fully restored and issue free!

It has a stunning case that really catches the light! The creamy lume has a wonderful vintage patina to it and really looks the cool vintage part. The bezel has faded to a dark blue color which is very unique. I am also including an aftermarket insert with the watch (I can install it at no charge after purchase if desired).

It has a new sapphire crystal. The original crystal was a mineral crystal (which is included) and they are all too commonly scratched. The sapphire is practically scratch proof and is quite a substantial upgrade. These sapphires are custom made and this is a feature found on most high end brands such as Omega, Tag Heuer, etc.

The bezel insert is original and in very very nice condition for its age which is hard to fine. The lume pip at 12:00 has been relumed and can be seen in the pics. It is glowing green under the bright lights hence the green hue. As a reminder a new high quality aftermarket insert is included should you ever need to replace it.

ALL gaskets (crystal, caseback, and crown) have been replaced as well and it has been pressure tested. Ready for the pool! All replaced parts are included for your service records. The crystal gasket is not in the package as it was dried out to the point it shattered into many many small pieces.

A new Swiss Renata battery has been installed which should be good for 2 years or more.

The bracelet is a genuine solid outer link (hollow inner link) Tag Heuer bracelet that has also been properly refinished. At some point in its life the clasp was replaced with a formerly pvd coated clasp. Currently the bracelet will fit at least a 7.5" wrist.
