Up for auction is a GORGEOUS example of 1970's Fisher Price ingenuity... namely a Fisher Price 980 ATV.  This is the PERFECT Easter Bunny Gift for your son, daughter, or grandchild.  If you are from the X-generation, then you probably had one of these and spent a lot of time riding it, as they were so fun !  This one is in EXCELLENT CONDITION.  The paint on the seat is bright and unworn and un-faded.  The little RED HORN works fine.  The ENGINE REVVING mechanism works great also.  It has a VERY nice clean cargo compartment with NO DIRT (see picture.)  The wheels are in GREAT shape.  Check out the pictures of the side and bottoms of the wheels.  Completely clean !!! The litho decals are also in REALLY nice shape with no fading and only a couple of minor scratches.  The plastic is nice and white and not discolored like many of the units that you see on EBay.  The steering wheel and horn button are like new with no fading.  It looks like this ATV was always stored indoors because it is not faded (like many) and not dirty (like many).  This ATV also includes the original box.  The box is missing the flaps on one end, and has some wear and tear.  Your child will have hours and hours of fun on this machine with memories that last a lifetime.  This is one of the extremely scarce early boxes from 1971 and shows that Fisher Price was a Division of the Quaker Oats company at the time on the bottom of the box.  Do you remember how excited you were when you got one of these for Easter back in the early 1970?s???  You have a really cool RETRO Easter Bunny this year !!!   This could be the only Fisher Price ATV that is this nice with the BOX and original construction figures before Easter.
