You are viewing a beautiful Original LEVI'S 506 XX Type 1 Vintage Big E 1930s to 40s Jacket.

Type 1 Levi Jean jackets were made from 1905 to 1953. From my research I believe this jacket was made between 1936 - 1941. Pre-war.

Some of the features of this jacket are:
One left chest pocket with a flap 
Riveted pockets and cuff vents
Knife pleats
Cinch-back slider at lower center back with a silver slider (replaced after the war with brass) with pin teeth
Big E single sided red tab
Standard Levi Stamped Buttons (replaced with donut buttons after war to save metal)

Measurements are:

20" pit to pit

21.25"sleeve from shoulder seam

17.5" shoulder to shoulder

21" bottom of collar to bottom of jacket
