Gratis Stabilizer Record Clamp

Description:

At the beginning of the 80s the electronics were used in a big style also with record players, the TD 147 seemed like a relic from the times, in which everything mechanically worked. Instead of an electronically controlled tonearm, as with many Japanese drives, the tried and tested TP 16 Mk III with replaceable tone arm tube was used. The speed changeover of the classic belt drive was also effected mechanically by shifting the drive belt over a lever on the stepped drive wheel (Pulley).
With the special vibration damping of the subchassis and the engine support plate, the TD 147 was largely equivalent to the TD 160 Super (it was also sold as a TD 160 Super BC without a tone arm). However, compared to this, it was equipped with a non-contact, optoelectronic end switch.
The weight, which is 3 kg higher than other models (eg TD 146 Mk. II) results from the use of the 10mm bearing with metal inner plate and MDF as frame material.
