All in excellent condition, signed and dated on the decanter from 1975.  Produced in the Christopher Ries studio in Columbus, OH before Ries moved to PA and started using crystal as a medium.  From a single owner, non-smoker.  Previous professor of Greek studies at the Ohio State University, purchased it while working in Columbus.

Christopher Ries produced glass sculpture that resides in museums, even small pieces bring thousands of dollars and exclusive art galleries.

Only blemish is a break to the bottom of the earred stopper, that belongs to the small decanter.  Very common.  The piece that broke off has been glued and has no effect on the function of the stopper, or appearance of the decanter.
