Hello, here is a nice and 100% NATURAL Philippinite tektite from the Indochinite strewn field. The most interesting tektites are from the Philippine Islands. They are beautifully textured with an often finer and smaller surface texture and a brighter sheen. They have deep grooving and winding channeling into the surface. The U bottom grooving has been the subject of much study and debate. Whatever the cause it has produced strikingly beautiful tektite specimens!

Here's More Info....Tektites, in the  simplest terms are pieces of natural glass. Microscopically, tektites resemble glass more than obsidian in that they are almost completely devoid of any mineral crystals in their composition. Tektites are believed to have been formed either on the Earth or Moon through the impact of a meteorite or comet!!

The Tektite measures a nice! 4.14cm or 1 11/16" at its biggest!
