Marcel Ophuls is an Oscar-winning documentary film maker and former actor.
 He is known for his films The Sorrow and the Pity (1969) and Hotel Terminus:
The Life and Times of Klaus Barbie (1988) for which he received the Academy 
Award for Best Documentary, Features. Ophuls carries dual French and American 
 citizenship. His father was the German-born film director Max Ophuls.
