For the flutist who has it all! This is a LEFT HANDED Viento brand concert C flute. That's right, it is a mirror image of the standard (right handed) concert flute, for the die-hard collector looking for an oddity, or the flute teacher looking for a pedagogical tool!

It's a solidly built Asian instrument, entirely silver-plated with closed hole, offset G, split E mechanism and C foot. Unlike the standard flute (held to the right), this flute is held to the left with the left hand leading.

Flute Pro Shop sold these as a tool to expand flutists' minds, and experience what it's like to play "to the other side". It's definitely a fun challenge to learn to switch everything over - even for the advanced player!

This flute is in great shape, just with some tarnishing from being displayed. All pads are good, and it plays well. Included is French style case, and case cover with exterior pocket and shoulder strap.
