This pipe shows no sign of ever having been smoked. I believe to be relatively modern (1970 -1999)
It was hand made in Guatemala and has a grotesque Mayan style design of a man distorting his face.
It is made well but to a rustic standard. This is folk art rather than high craftsmanship.
Made of plain unglazed terracotta clay.
It would make a good pocket pipe.
The pipe approximately 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) long.
Thanks for looking. Please check out my other items. I will be listing other pipes in the SMOKING PIPES section of my shop over the next few weeks, including other Central and South American pipes.
If you buy multiple items, I will refund any postage savings.
If you wish to collect in person, please note I require payment in advance via Paypal.
