The locket is 14 mm x 18 mm so it's a nice size, and is oval in shape with an engraved top.
It opens and closes securely and there is room for a photo inside
The ring is fully hallmarked for 9 carat gold, 1998 (year) and Birmingham assay office
There is a slight noise from the locket part, but it stays closed securely and this is fairly common with rings which open & close
It weighs a solid 6.5 grams
